To inform about the said college’s development and events of interest to the students and act as a medium for independent student opinion on community and national issues.
To pursue the mission of social transformation through active and responsible journalism.
To exercise academic and campus press freedom following the Law of the land. It will also seek to protect and safeguard press freedom by taking a firm stance against those who threaten such rights.
To respect the rights of other parties equally protected by the Laws of the Republic, affording them the freedom and opportunity to refute or reply to adverse criticism or comment.
To provide a medium for the CCJE Department members to communicate information, opinions, and ideas with particular emphasis on matters of interest and concern to students; and
To disseminate announcements and publicize College-sponsored events and student activities.
To serve as a reflection of the campus’s events, environments, and personalities.

To provide students a medium to creatively express feelings or ideas using visual art forms or the literary arts.
