TSU underwent the Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA) of the Commission on Higher Education last August 28-30, 2019 and has successfully passed the said assessment as per the narrative report of CHED Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (OIQAG) on March 4, 2021.

Quality assurance continues to be a way of life in TSU. The ISA is a government certification for quality assurance required by partner international higher educational institutions.

It is a quality assurance process that assesses the institutional sustainability of a higher education institution (HEI) in five key result areas: (1) governance and management, (2) quality of teaching and learning, (3) quality of professional exposure, research, and creative work/innovation, (4) support for students, and (5) relations with the community.
