2 SOL students bag awards in LEAP literary anthology

Two students from the Tarlac State University School of Law won in the literary folio competition of the Legal Education Advancement Program (LEAP) titled "Obiter Dictum: Passing through Life and Law."

Ms. Maryer Roshel Ramos was named "honorable mention" in the traditional art category with her piece, "Wet." Meanwhile, Mr. Daniel Canlas placed 2nd runner-up in the digital art category with his piece called “Inter Alia.”

The awarding ceremony was held last December 8, 2022 at the University of the Philippines-BGC Auditorium.

The Obiter Dictum is a project led by the LEAP Student Fellows of the, a collaboration between the Legal Education Board and UP Law Center. This is part of LEAP's efforts to create new generations of lawyers who will be healers, peacemakers, and agents of societal transformation.
