116 TSU employees took oath for permanent and temporary plantilla

A total of 116 newly appointed, upgraded, and promoted faculty members and non-teaching staff of Tarlac State University took their oath on Wednesday (September 13) at the TSU Hotel 5th floor function room.

A total of 116 newly appointed, upgraded, and promoted faculty members and non-teaching staff of Tarlac State University took their oath on Wednesday (September 13) at the TSU Hotel 5th floor function room.

TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco presided over the oathtaking, where the immediate supervisors of the faculty members and non-teaching staff served as witnesses.

Of the 116, Ms. Franchezka Dianne D. Tudla from the Office of Human Resource Development and Management was promoted from Administrative Aide IV to Administrative Assistant II, while Mr. William Salak was reappointed with a permanent Nurse II plantilla under the Office of the University Health Services.

Among the teaching workforce, five faculty members from the College of Science were promoted to higher academic ranks.

Seven faculty members with temporary Instructor I plantilla, who have completed their respective master's degrees, were granted permanent employment status.

Meanwhile, 25 faculty members from various colleges were newly appointed with a temporary Instructor I plantilla and one Assistant Professor I temporary item for a COS faculty member.

Another nine faculty members with administrative functions were also newly appointed with a temporary Instructor I plantilla. They are deployed to the university's offices and centers and are considered "attached" faculty members.

Moreover, 66 temporary Instuctor I plantilla holders were given a renewal of appointment along with one reemployment of appointment.
