Fine Arts student bags 3rd place in NHED on-the-spot painting

Fine Arts student Ira Jho Cacanog won third place in the 2023 National Higher Education Day (NHED) On-the-Spot Painting Competition of the Commission on Higher Education, per the awarding ceremony held tonight (August 1) at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila City.

Fine Arts student Ira Jho Cacanog won third place in the 2023 National Higher Education Day (NHED) On-the-Spot Painting Competition of the Commission on Higher Education, per the awarding ceremony held tonight (August 1) at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila City.

As a major award recipient, Cacanog was granted a trophy, certificate, and a 50 thousand peso cash incentive.

Meanwhile, Lauren Jascha Tolentino and John Michael Ramos are among the top 15 finalists who received a certificate and ten thousand pesos each.

Fine Arts Chairperson and coach Mr. Jessie Tadeo Jr. joined the student artists in the national competition.

TSU CAFA alumni president Mr. Christian Aaron Bondoc also attended the awarding ceremony to support the university’s representatives.
