In view of the end of term of the incumbent President of the Tarlac State University on March 31, 2022, and in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act 8292, the Board of Regents of the Tarlac State University (TSU), Romulo Boulevard, San Vicente, Tarlac City, formally and publicly announces that the SEARCH FOR PRESIDENCY OF THE TARLAC STATE UNIVERSITY (TSU) is NOW OPEN.
Minimum Personal Qualifications:
- Must be a natural born Filipino citizen;
- Must be a holder of an earned Doctoral degree from a CHED Recognized higher education institution;
- Must have a proven track record as an administrator in a higher educational or research institute (President, Vice President, Dean, Campus Administrator, Academic Director directly reporting to the President or to a Vice President, Chair of a Department), whether in public or private for at least five (5) years;
- Not less than thirty five (35) years old but not more than 61 years old on the date of the application for the position;
- Must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude or administrative charge wherein the penalty is more than six (6)
An applicant who does not meet any one of the abovementioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit pertinent supporting documentary evidence for these minimum qualifications on the set deadline shall be disqualified from the search process.

- Applicant’s Proposed Vision, Mission and Development Goals for the University;
- PSA authenticated birth certificate;
- Neuro-psychiatric Examination Result from a DOH-recognized health institution;
- Medical Certificate of Physical fitness from a DOH-recognized health institution;
- Certificates/Clearances from the following government agencies, obtained not more than three (3) months from the date of filing of application indicating the applicant has no finding of guilt/conviction in any administrative and/or criminal case:
- Civil Service Commission
- Sandiganbayan
- National Bureau of Investigation
- Municipal/Regional Trial Court
- Ombudsman (for government employees)
- Institution where the applicant is presently employed
- Duly accomplished CSC Form 212 made under oath;
