Energy Conservation Program

Share

The TSU established an Energy Conservation Program particularly in air conditioning systems, lighting fuel consumption (the use of eco-friendly technology like electric vehicles roving around the Lucinda Extension Campus) and Electric Consumption. The two reasons why we need to conserve energy, water and fuel consumption are to gain more control over energy and fuel bills and reduce the demand on the earth’s natural resources.

DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE)

ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT REPORT

In connection with the Department of Energy’s (DOE) direction for institutionalization of a Government Energy Management Program (GEMP), a virtual energy audit was conducted at Tarlac State University last March 17, 2021 to identify the opportunities for energy efficiency and conservation on fuel and electrical facilities to achieve more efficient measures. In the initial rating, the DOE graded the University an A / 92.8% score this is a proof that TSU promotes the best practices for energy, fuel and electric conservation.
