One major thing to understand is that sustainability does not talk about shifting to the pre-industrial era but promotes an alternative way to preserve the environment. Tarlac State University (TSU) promotes and practices energy, water and fuel conservation in the University.

The Tarlac State University is certified by DENR-EMB to protect and will not cause a significant negative impact to the environment.

In part of protecting the employees, faculties and visitors, the Tarlac State University is given by Local Government of Tarlac the Safety Seal, proven that the TSU is well follow the safety and health against COVID-19.

The Tarlac State University is ISO 9001:2015 certify for Quality Management System. In ISO 9001:2015, the Pollution Control and Safety Unit was under clause 7.1.3 “Infrastructure” and 7.1.4 “Environment for the operation of processes”
